New York, New York USA - Eurotire, Inc., an emerging leader in the design and manufacture of OTR tires and provider of tire support services for the global mining industry, has announced today the release of EuroTrak, Eurotire’s tire management system. Eurotire chose Vehicle Management Corporation (VMC) and its enTIRE Tire and Rim Management Software (a Windows based computer program that will track the performance and stock levels of a fleet of tires and wheels) to create the EuroTrak customized tire data collection system. Tire and wheel performance data will be collected from around the world using EuroTrak, centralized and analyzed at Eurotire’s offices, and fed back to Eurotire’s manufacturing plants to provide continuous product improvement feedback.
Eurotire’s selection of VMC enTire followed an extensive analysis of globally available data collection platforms. Eurotire management confirmed, “The enTire platform is the best solution for a global data collection program. VMC is not only an industry expert they are also an independent company insuring that the information collection process and the data collected is totally unbiased.” According to VMC, “This is the largest implementation of a centralized tire management system in the world, with the database and web interface supporting hundreds of online users. More importantly, the data is owned and located with Eurotire.”
